Uncle Fong, the founder of the Michelin-starred restaurant PUTIEN, is not only a veteran gastronome but also a lover of seeking the best ingredients and enjoying hot pot. During his stay in Hong Kong, he frequently flew to Chongqing to indulge in an authentic spicy hotpot. He would even go to hidden gems recommended by locals to find the perfect hotpot. His love for hotpot became a joke among his friends who claimed he had eaten more hotpots than the locals! Finally, in 2015, he discovered the authentic Chongqing-style hotpot flavor he had been searching for and decided to open a hotpot restaurant in Hong Kong to share it with his friends and fellow hotpot enthusiasts.Uncle Fong believes that the key to the best hotpot is the soup, which is why he uses only the most carefully selected ingredients. Each ingredient is tried and tested thousands of times before being used. In 2016, Uncle Fong's first hotpot restaurant arrived in Hong Kong, allowing everyone who loves hotpot to indulge in it anytime and anywhere.
