The brand has slowly expanded to more than 10 outlets in Japan, after its first store was opened in Harima-cho, Kako-gun, Hyogo Prefecture (near Kobe).The restaurant imports and uses the same flour, dashi, and dipping sauce that are used in Japan in order to attain the same light batter that showcases the quality of ingredients well. The batter is made using Okinawan egg. Tempura Makino Singapore also serves free-flow homemade yuzu daikon all day, every day, following the tradition in Japan.
